A stargazing event not to be missed

Step into the wonder of the night sky as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Dark Skies Festival with renowned astronomer Martin Lunn, MBE. This event promises to be a fun, family-friendly evening filled with stories, stargazing, and a touch of science!

High Trenhouse, located in the stunning Yorkshire Dales, is one of the last places in the UK to experience truly dark skies. This is your chance to unplug, connect with nature, and gaze at the universe with one of the UK's leading astronomers.

With just a 1 in 3 chance of perfect starry skies due to winter weather, this event is an adventure! Even if the stars are shy, Martin's talk will make your evening unforgettable.

A silhouetted tree stands on natural limestone pavement above Malham Cove under an aurora-lit equinox night sky. The colourful aurora blends with stars and wisps of clouds, creating a magical contrast against the rocky, grooved landscape in the foreground.
