How much does a wedding at High Trenhouse cost?

How many wedding guests can High Trenhouse accommodate?

High Trenhouse can comfortably accommodate 21 single occupancy people overnight or as many as 28 overnight if guests are happy to share. 50 guests can attend during the day. ​

Will I have access to the High Trenhouse grounds?

Yes, of course. High Trenhouse has 3.25 acres of land including ponds, open spaces, woodland, intimate gardens and secluded corners. All of which you’re free to access at all times.

Does High Trenhouse have a license for weddings and legal marriages?

Yes, High Trenhouse has a wedding licence. However, you will need to book your own registrar. Alternatively you can book a "2+2" ceremony at your local Register Office a few days before and then have a fully bespoke celebrant led wedding ceremony at High Trenhouse

How does High Trenhouse commit to remaining environmentally friendly?

High Trenhouse is located within nature, nature that we are committed to preserving. The High Trenhouse team nurtures our grounds all year round. Food for catering is locally sourced and our waste management processes are both ethical and eco-friendly. We even have our own bees producing honey. Furthermore, we take measures to conserve energy wherever possible.

Does High Trenhouse have spa facilities?

At High Trenhouse, we offer a spacious sauna for any of our guests t o use. In addition, we have open outdoor spaces for your wellness needs such as yoga, pilates or walking therapy.

Will we be the only guests at High Trenhouse?

Yes, during your stay with us we will not host any other guests at High Trenhouse, leaving our facilities and grounds for your private use. Some of our team live on site and we ask you to respect their private space.

Can catering be provided?

During your stay with us, Bed & Breakfast accommodation is included to for you both and up to 8 of your party. This includes fully catered breakfast on both days of your stay. For your event, in order to give you the widest possible choice, we source outside catering suppliers. We have a number of recommended suppliers with a wide range of options. Please speak to our wedding co-ordinator for further details.​

What happens if the premises has to close due to COVID?

In the unlikely event of a temporary closure due to Covid-19, any booking made for those dates will be transferred to new dates. 

Is High Trenhouse accessible by public transport?

The closest railway station to High Trenhouse is Settle. We are happy to arrange transport from Settle train station if booked in advance. A limited bus service stops just five minutes walk from our front door. The timetable can be found here. 

Is High Trenhouse pet friendly?

Yes, we can permit certain pets depending on the circumstances. We are surrounded by working livestock farms so dogs must be on leads at all times. Please talk to our wedding coordinator for more details.

Does High Trenhouse have disability access?

As an 18th century farm building, there are some barriers to making it 100% disability accessible. However, progress is being made and should you need any form of assistance to enable you to enjoy High Trenhouse and its grounds to the full please speak to us in advance. We are fully inclusive in our approach to people regardless of their needs.

Is there onsite parking?

High Trenhouse has sufficient parking spaces for small weddings. Please encourage your guests to share transport where possible. It's better for the environment.

Are there rooms for the wedding party to get ready in?

Wedding parties can either prepare themselves for the ceremony in their private bedrooms or we can set up one of the conference rooms or meeting rooms for your party. Makeup, wardrobe and hairstylists can each have their own workspace at no extra charge.
